About Medora Campground

The wonderful summer weather makes Medora Campground a very popular place to camp. The campground is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. On a clear day you can see Tracy Mountain from this site. June often gets some rain, so remember to camp dry for tent protection. Winter camping is very difficult in this area, since nighttime temperatures often drop below zero. If you do have the courage to camp in this harsh climate during winter, perhaps you should consider learning how to build an igloo.
